Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 20 May 2026. This policy applies to all purchases of Skill Sprints and other paid products from SkilDock (a product of Techtrail Labs).
1. The short version
If a Skill Sprint isn't right for you, you can request a full refund within 7 calendar days of purchase, as long as you have consumed less than 30% of the sprint's content. We don't ask why. We just refund.
2. What counts as "less than 30% consumed"
- You have viewed fewer than 30% of the day-by-day video lessons in the sprint.
- You have not downloaded more than 30% of the notebooks, lab files, or solutions.
- You have not submitted the Day-7 mini-project.
Consumption is measured automatically from our learner dashboard. If our records differ from yours, we'll always give you the benefit of the doubt for the first refund.
3. How to request a refund
- Email info@skildock.com from the same address you used at checkout.
- Include the order ID from your purchase receipt (also visible in your dashboard).
- Optional: tell us why so we can improve. Honest feedback is the most valuable thing you can give us — but it's not a requirement for the refund.
We process refund requests within 2 business days. The amount is returned to your original payment method through Cashfree, who typically credit it within 5–7 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
4. Cancellation
Skill Sprints are one-time purchases — there's nothing to cancel. Your access to the content you bought lasts for 1 year from the date of purchase. We won't auto-charge you for anything else.
If you want us to delete your learner account and associated data, write to info@skildock.com with the subject line "Delete my account". We'll process the deletion within 7 days, retaining only the minimum order records required by tax law (typically 7 years in India).
5. When we cannot refund
- More than 7 days have passed since your purchase.
- You have consumed more than 30% of the sprint's content.
- We have specific evidence of credential sharing or content redistribution by your account.
- A refund has already been issued and you're repurchasing — we'll happily process the second purchase, but the second one becomes non-refundable.
6. Disputes & chargebacks
Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We resolve nearly every refund request informally within a day. Chargebacks are slow, costly for both sides, and may result in your learner account being suspended pending resolution.
7. Promotional & bundle pricing
Refunds on sprints purchased at a promotional or bundle price are processed at the amount you actually paid, not the list price. If you used a discount code, the same discount applies to your refund.
8. Free previews
The first day of every Skill Sprint is available as a free preview before purchase. We strongly recommend trying the Day 1 preview before enrolling — it's the best way to confirm the sprint's pace and teaching style match what you want.
