Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SkilDock website (https://skildock.com) or enrolling in any of our training programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

SkilDock provides live online training courses in software engineering, cloud computing, data science, and related fields. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Live instructor-led training sessions
  • Hands-on labs and project-based exercises
  • Recorded session access for enrolled students
  • Course materials, resources, and documentation
  • Career support services (mock interviews, resume reviews)
  • Certificates of completion

3. Enrollment and Payment

Enrollment Process

Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of payment (full or partial as per agreed installment plan). Seat availability is limited per batch and confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Payment

  • Course fees are as communicated at the time of enrollment.
  • Payment can be made via bank transfer, UPI, or other methods as specified at enrollment.
  • Installment plans may be available for select courses, as agreed in writing.
  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified.

4. Refund Policy

  • Before course start: Full refund if requested at least 7 days before the batch start date.
  • Within first week: 75% refund if requested within 7 days of the batch start date, provided you have attended no more than 2 sessions.
  • After first week: No refund will be issued after the first week of the course.
  • Batch transfer: If you cannot attend the current batch, you may request a one-time transfer to the next available batch of the same course at no additional cost, subject to availability.

5. Intellectual Property

All course content, materials, recordings, lab exercises, and resources provided by SkilDock are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. As an enrolled student, you are granted a personal, non-transferable license to access and use the materials for your own learning purposes.

You may not:

  • Share, distribute, or resell course materials, recordings, or resources to any third party.
  • Record live sessions without explicit written permission from the instructor.
  • Use course content for commercial purposes, including creating derivative training programs.
  • Upload course materials to public platforms or file-sharing services.

Projects and code you write during the course belong to you. You are encouraged to use them in your portfolio and job applications.

6. Student Conduct

By enrolling in our courses, you agree to:

  • Participate respectfully in all live sessions and discussions.
  • Not disrupt the learning experience for other students.
  • Complete assignments and labs using your own work (no plagiarism).
  • Not share access credentials with non-enrolled individuals.

We reserve the right to remove a student from a batch for repeated violations of these conduct guidelines, without refund.

7. Limitation of Liability

SkilDock provides training and education services to the best of our ability. However:

  • We do not guarantee specific employment outcomes, salary levels, or job placements.
  • Career support services (mock interviews, resume reviews, job search guidance) are advisory in nature and do not constitute job placement guarantees.
  • Course content is provided for educational purposes. We are not responsible for any damages arising from the application of course content in production environments.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the course fee you paid.

8. Service Availability

We strive to deliver all scheduled sessions and maintain platform availability. However, we reserve the right to:

  • Reschedule sessions due to instructor availability or technical issues, with reasonable notice.
  • Update course content to reflect current industry practices and tools.
  • Cancel a batch before its start date if minimum enrollment is not met (full refund will be provided).

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled students via email. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
